Contract Litigation Attorney - Sacramento (Full-Time)

Adams and Martin Group is assisting its well-respected Sacramento law firm with a full-time (40hrs/week) Contract Attorney role. This position will support senior associates and partners in the personal injury litigation practice throughout Northern California. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney who is eager to build litigation experience, work directly with clients, and grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Position is in office 5 days/week. Only candidates that can meet this requirement will be considered.

This position may be considered contract-hire for the right candidate after evaluation of contract performance.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and litigating personal injury cases from intake through resolution
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers
  • Assist and prepare for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other litigation events across Northern California
  • Contribute to case strategy and support the broader litigation team

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license required (in good standing)
  • MUST reside in Sacramento, CA metro market (on-site 5 days/week; minimum 40hrs/week)
  • 1-7 years of legal experience (new attorneys encouraged to apply)
  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills
  • Self-starter who enjoys working with the public and thrives in a team setting
  • Prior personal injury experience is preferred, but not required
